Center of Excellence in Learning Health Systems Science and K12 Research Training Program
The Oregon Health & Science University in partnership with Kaiser Permanente Northwest Region launched the NW Center of Excellence and K12 Training Program in patient-centered outcomes & Learning Health Systems (LHS) Science.
This Center of Excellence and K12 training program brings together a network of health systems, academic institutions, health policy agencies, and community-based organizations to form a cross-institutional multidisciplinary learning health systems program pioneering LHS research in Oregon and beyond. The AHRQ-funded Learning Health System K12 Program supports protected research time, dedicated funds, and experiential work with health systems to train the future workforce in learning health system science.
This program is made possible through a grant funded by AHRQ (K12 HS026370).
